We are proud to inform you that Talend Open Studio 2.1.0 final release is now available.
The numerous new features of Talend Open Studio 2.1.0 include integration with other Open Source platforms such as SpagoBI (business intelligence) or Spagic (SOA). This version has also been further optimized for increasing its performance.
We have integrated new components, including:
- support of new databases (including bulk load)
- transaction management (connection sharing, commit and rollback for MySQL)
- Slowly Changing Dimensions support (Perl only, for MySQL and Oracle - Java and other RDBMS to come)
- MOM (Message Oriented Middleware) support for real-time integration jobs (Java only)
- fuzzy logic data matching (using the Levenshtein and metaphone algorithms)
- normalization, denormalization and flow merge
- support of SSH remote connections
- support of PGP file decryption (through GPG binary)
We have added higher level components: business connectors for simplifying the access (read & write) to applications: SugarCRM, Salesforce.com...
Support of the XML standard was also reinforced: DTD validation, XSD, XSLT transformation, significant improvements in hierarchical XML file generation, support of the XMLRPC Web Services protocol...
The tMap component was improved to support input filters and new joins types (cartesian product, first match, last match...)
