Krugle’s Industry-Leading Search Engine for Developers Receives Ready for IBM Rational Software Validation
MENLO PARK, Calif. – June 7, 2007 – Krugle, Inc., the search engine for developers, today announced that its Rapid Application Development (RAD) IDE plug-in has been validated with IBM Rational Application Developer through the Ready for IBM Rational software validation program. The validation enables IBM Rational developers and customers to feel assured knowing that Krugle’s plug-in meets IBM’s requirements for interoperability and user experience.
"We continue to build on our core strength in code search," said Steve Larsen, co-founder and CEO, Krugle. "Receiving validation on IBM’s Rational development platform extends that strength across application lifecycle management."
Krugle’s Enterprise Appliance RAD IDE plug-in enables developers to search across heterogeneous environments to find, fix and learn about code. By adding a RAD IDE plug-in to its recently announced Enterprise Appliance, Krugle helps developers more quickly and efficiently search for code within the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform. The new appliance indexes code and presents it in context with other software assets developers manage throughout the application development process.
As an IBM Business Partner participating in the Ready for IBM Rational software validation program, Krugle’s RAD IDE plug-in is now validated for integration to IBM Rational Application Developer. As a validated product, Krugle’s RAD IDE plug-in will now bear the Ready for IBM Rational logo as an assurance to customers of their fulfillment of requirements.
