After one year of development and numerous updates the eclipse plugin eva/3 Application Builder reaches the version 1.4. The new version is more stable and has some new features: Performance Analyzer The Performance Analyzer offers an extension of the eva/3 data base management. It analyses the performance of up to fourteen database systems and offers a visual display of the results. Thus you have an overview of which database systems best correspond to your performance needs. eva/3 Wizards A project wizard has been integrated with the new release 1.4. You can use this wizard to automatically create one of the specified projects. Naturally you can make your own changes and adaptations at anytime. You get a genuine eva/3 project, just right for quick and simple orientation in the eva/3 world. The following project wizards are available with the current version: 1. A customer service management 2. As well as a commercial general ledger Additional projects will follow in the course of the next upgrades. Excel-Export Data export from reports has been extended with the long-awaited Excel-Export. This offers you even more flexibility in outputting your data from an eva/3 application. Use eva/3 applications in the Internet browser With the new eva/3 Application Builder, applications can be implemented as JApplet or Web-Start application. Do you want to start an application remotely from the desktop, or simply call an application in the Internet browser and use it like a web application?
