Etish Limited is proud to announce the launch of Useme, the open source requirements management tool that fills what we believe is a very important niche in the software tools arena.
Useme is a collaborative tool that automates the capture and the subsequent maintenance of user requirements for new software functionality. The tool facilitates the utilisation of industry standards and best practices in requirements capture. Useme is based upon a number of industry standard technologies, the most relevant of which are the Eclipse Tools Platform and the Glassfish Java J5EE application server. The software has been in production for in house use at Etish Limited for a few years and we expect to make its first public release as an open source project this September. The Useme Project website is located at java.net, where preliminary information about Useme can already be found in the form of a number of documents. The documentation will be enriched progressively as we near release date.Any questions or communication regarding either Useme or the open source project should be emailed to useme@etish.org.If you would like to receive the occasional Project Useme Newsletter please subscribe here.
Best regards,Joel
