Today Rational announced the release of new software and resources to help customers leverage their investments in open source development tools. Highlighting the announcement is a new program called IBM Rational Elite support offering for Eclipse. It provides users of Eclipse-based tools, including those distributed by eclipse.org or other providers, the ability to get world class support for Eclipse -- a service no other competing software vendor currently provides.
