Mia-Software released Mia-Generation 4.10, its code generation solution.
With Mia-Generation, create customized code generators to produce files :
100% compliant with your coding conventions100% compliant with your design rules
Mia-Generation imports UML models (1.x and 2.0) and any model expressed with XML.
To accelerate the integration within your projects, Mia-Software provides generators for J2EE (Struts, Hibernate, JSF, ...) and a plugin for Eclipse.
Mia-Generation 4.10 comes with new functionalities :
User tags on the same line
Tags delimit the hand-written user code, to preserve those portions of code between two generations.
With the latest version, these tags can be placed on the same line.
Notification of lost user code
If user tags are not found from one generation to another, a notification can be launched.
This alert avoids the loss of user code between two generations.
User code storage
After a generation, all the user code portions can be stored in a XML file.
This storage facilitates the restoration of user code when refactoring of generated files is important.
Plugin mechanism to extend Architect edition
Architects who create code generators can extend the generation rules editor to add their own menus.
Specific functionalities can then be added in a very simple manner.
UML2 installed by default
When you create a new generation project, you can choose between UML1 or UML2.
