The new PDF plugin from IDRsolutions allows Eclipse to display PDF files seamlessly within Perpsectives or Views and even provides access to the PDF outline (if present). A toolbar is included for easy navigation.
IDRsolutions are pleased to announce the first release of a free plugin for Eclipse which provides seamless support for displaying PDF files within Eclipse. Based on the GPL version of the JPedal PDF library (the leading Java library for PDF rendering and extraction), the plugin offers a View, an Editor and a Perspective to view and navigate PDF files. PDF outlines are displayed and a toolbar allows the user to navigate through large files.
For more details and to download the plugin, visit http://www.jpedal.org/plugin.html which also contains details of the plugin for IDEA platform. A Netbeans version is under consideration.
The current version offers a subset of the functionality available under the full JPedal viewer. A more advanced version is under consideration offering additional features present in the full JPedal library such as searching, extraction, forms saving and printing.
There is a forum for feedback or asking questions at http://www.jpedal.org/phpBB2/index.php |
