MyEclipse 4.1 M2 - AJAX/Web 2.0 Support

MyEclipse 4.1 M2 is now available for immediate download at the MyEclipse site. This is the second milestone release with the first Eclipse-based IDE to support Web 2.0/AJAX development through an innovative WebTools 2.0 Tools Platform (W2TP) and uniquely integrates Spring, Hibernate and database technologies into a single intuitive solution. MyEclipse 4.1 new features include:

  • Enhanced the JavaScript Editor adding support for Syntax highlighting, Integrated outline and property views, Validation and syntax checking, Code assist for common JavaScript elements, functions, and variables, Code assist documentation for functions, Source formatting, and Toggle comments
  • New fully integrated client-side JavaScript Debugger (Windows Only).
  • New Spring capabilities wizard for Hibernate tools integration
  • New Hibernate DB reverse-engineering wizard
  • New MyEclipse UML Sequence Diagram support
  • Advanced visual drag and drop capabilities
  • Visual Web designer zoom JSP preview localization
  • Advanced server management
  • New full-featured image editor
