If you want to use eclipse but feel sad that you can't upload and store your files on an SFTP server, stop right there! because Christopher Thomas, just released ESftp...
ESftp is a plugin for eclipse which allows a per project or workbench SFTP site configuration, with the ability to select multiple groups of files and directories, ESftp will negotiate an optimised list of files to transfer. The ability (practically proven, not just theoretically) to set per project settings and transfer those files securely is now here for you to utilise.
