The free version is nicer than simple text editing, but I can't create a schema from a data file as advertised. Seems minimal, but I'm sure the commercial version is much better.

Simply love it !

Excellent free plugin - and the most recent version seems to have fixed my only problems. Specifically the automatic formatting is now clean, and adding a / to the end of a tag automatically removes the closing tag.

It\'s very useful for small XML files, but slow and has a tendency of killing eclipse with out of memory errors with large XML files.

A very useful plugin - quick fixes would be nice (e.g change case of element to lower case)

This is the best XML plugin I have seen for Eclipse. In particular, I like the ability to use content assistance against a DTD synthesized from the contents of the document. The Format command is also really handy. The only problem is that the HTML and JSP editors are pretty useless; but one should probably use a different editor for those anyway.
