Really usable plugin, no real shocks or surproses. It would be great if when importing from existing code all (as much as possible) existing links were imported as well.

Very nice - I needed something simple and functional, this is the only thing I found that works well. Works with Europa.

This is the best UML in an IDE I have seen, and I have seen a few. Highly recommended.

This is the greatest tool I've seen so far to create class diagrams. It is quick and makes it easy to manage large diagrams. Did try the sequence diagrams, but there are a few bugs, but sill work good. Keep up the good work :)

Unfortunately the sequence diagram is full of annoying bugs, and useless. The class diagram may be useful.

After looking at quite a few UML plugins, Had a chance to try this and it is great. It does the job very well. I could have given a 10, if there was support for (1) State Diagrams (2) Ability to change the Font, instead of using the System Font. This has the potential for becoming the best Free UML plugin, if the quality is maintained. Thanks a lot for the tool

It's not nearly as full featured as some of the other UML diagrammers out there (including ones that don't support eclipse), but for the simplicity and what it does, it's pretty good.

Very nice...I tried many UML plugins published on this site and most of them had some problem or the other. I'm glad to say that :-) Amateras works very well.

I _really_ like thie UML tool. It is easy it create complex drawings that are looking nice. This is exactly the intension or philosopy I like of such a tool and it runs smoother than any other (professional) tools I tried (and I tried quite some of them). This is the reason why I am rating the plugin this high, but I have to admit that some of the points are in advance due to the currently provided featureset. But since there is a community webpage for AmaterasUML which allows to post feature request and people are working hard to fulfil them, the rate shall also show them that they are on the right way and motivate them to continue.
I'm looking forward already to the next versions

I rated this higher than I normally might for something so simple, but this tool is really quite good for what it does: Sequence Diagrams and some Class Diagramming. I now use it for just about everything I need to sequence and because I have no need for "round-trip", "reverse-engineering", or meta-models, this plug-in keeps me productive. If you're looking for an alternative to Visio for sequence diagrams, this might impress you.

This is the most useful UML plugin for eclipse if you want to document your code or generate sequence diagrams. I am currently finishing my diploma thesis and needed a simple, nice looking UML tool that just works. Believe me, I really tried many but this was the only one that was really useful!
