This plugin is awesome. Since it just edits plain text (.wiki) files, these files can be placed in a simple folder in your projects (i use "wiki") and they can be added in version control (SVN, CVS, etc). I use it for design notes, code documentation (such as file formats, protocols, etc), quick to-do lists (for stuff that i don't want to put in Mylyn). Even if it is a bit rough on the edges, for me it is one of the most useful Eclipse plugins. As an extra bonus, if you make a project, put .wiki files in it and someone else gets the source and doesn't have this plugin, the Wiki will be fully readable since the files are plain text files using a human readable format (or actually a bunch of them - i prefer the TWiki format).

EclipseWiki is part of the reason why eclipse is, for me, streets ahead.

Very useful. Not fully mature yet. Rendering needs to be configurable to allow me to plug-in my own renderer. Handling of nested wiki content not supported, so can't group related pages together.

Great plugin for collaboration among eclipse developers in a team

Just found this plugin on sourceforge and I like it. A very cool idea to use a wiki as project documentation. I hope this project will evolve further and add more features (like generated toc at the top of each site, paragraph titles (are these really not possible yet?), defines and so on)

For F3 and other key to work (from eclipse plugins site): Channing Walton on May 31, 2004 1:59 PM > I can\'t seem to get F3 to open a new link even though the binding seems to be listed correctly in prefs. Hi, when I moved to the multipage editor, the keybindings stopped behaving as before. You know need to enable as follows: Open the windows menu, select \'customize perspective\', select the commands tab, and check the Wiki actions checkbox. That should do it. I\'ll try to figure out why it stopped working as before. Channing

Quite useful. I\'ve found several options not working in eclipse 3.0.1: - Navigation keys, F3 - Typing the fuyy qualif. name of a Java class does\'nt create a link

I think this is one of the most useful plugins I have come aross for a while. It shows that usability doesn\'t equate to size or complexity. Just a very \"simple\" bet very valuable way of jotting down notes and design ideas while working on code. GREAT! Wish I had it also as a little stand-alone application that I could use outside of Ecllipse. Well done

At a glance Wiki Editor seems great. When I enter some text, save and click launch however, the result is Internet Explorer showing me about:blank :-(

I find this plugin to be very useful as a way to maintain project notes close to the source code, so they can be kept in sync.

This is an excellent plugin. I especially like the way you can hyperlink to resources in the Eclipse workspace. An excellent informal team communication tool.
