seriously, i thought i needed this cfeclipse since so many people were talking so great stuff. my experience, it couldn't add any value over aptana even took so many functionality. i can live without autocomplete of coldfusion ;)

I've been using CFEclipse for a while now. I monitor the CFEclipse user group (at groups.google.com), and I think that for the most part, they have been able to answer any questions I've had, and sometimes, the answer is waiting in the archives before I need to ask it.
Overall a great tool. Needs some work, but there are a lot of features in there, and you just can't beat it for the price!

I like the plugin a lot in general, but I find some items to be missing that are frustrating.
I have seen in blogs that dragging an image from the Project Navigator into a CFML page should write the link (like Homesite), but mine just opens the image as a text document. (useless)
Also, I used the Quick Bar icons a lot to create items in code. Links, tables, form controls, etc. I do not see anything like that here. If I am missing it, please e-mail me and let me know where it is. Thanks!
If I am not missing it, I'd like to suggest adding it!

It's an excellent plugin for coding in CFML, but it's horrible for CFSCRIPT... I code almost exclusively in CFSCRIPT and am unable to use this thing as I would like. If I've missed something, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, let me know.

As a veteran Eclipse user and new to ColdFusion, I found this plug-in useful but not outstanding. I, too, noticed the auto-completion annoyance and intrusive. If the auto-completion can be trigger by the user (e.g. Ctrl-space) instead of popping up by itself, that will be a great improvement. Is this project still in progress?

Were it not for one supremely annoying problem, I might like this plugin. The "auto-completion" feature is fine if you want to use it. But the problem is, by just hitting a space in the middle of your ColdFusion code, the popup "auto-completion" feature pops up a barrage of options and if you are not watching the editor when it does you just might throw in code you didn't want, or if blast some code that was there. This feature is so annoying that I am out tonight looking for ANYTHING else I can get my hands on that will do just basic syntax coloring.
