Sword plugin is a plugin that brings you the bible tool into eclipse
workspace. Based on Crosswire Jsword library , sword plugin features
the following:
1. Support whatever sword project supports(Bibles, commentaries,
dictionaries, generic book) yet gives you a web interface.
2. Downloads books from Crosswire and Bible.org. More books are in
preparation for Chinese.
3. Support schedules updates
4. Parallel study without limit(as long as you have big enough screen)
5. Daily devotionals
6. Internationalization(English and Simplified Chinese locale files in
this release)
I have tested it on eclipse 3.2.1, 3.3 m6 with JRE5/JRE6.
Just unzip and copy the files to eclipse directory.
Standalone RCP coming soon. Another plugin for THML/OSIS module
editing , module compiling and importing are in planning. Growing a
bible module should be fun.
