Faktor-IPS is a MDSD tool for the insurance industry. It provides a domain language to model insurance contracts and products. Based on Eclipse it provides an integration platform for both developers and business analysts. Business analysts can define new insurance products in a special product definition perspective.
Faktor-IPS is open source. The development is financed by a community of insurance companies and software vendors. Commercial users have to participate in the community.
Currently the website and documentation is in German, but we are planning to provide documentation in English soon.
