Using jPASS! it is possible, based on Eclipse, to describe internal as well as interorganisational business processes from a subject- or workplace-oriented point of view. The entire tool familiy of jCOM1 is based on the modelling tool jPASS!.
The innovative underlying methodology of jPASS! is highly flexible and places the users in complete control at the centre of all BPM actions. The subject- or workplace-oriented view involves all users individually already in the planning and the layout stage of the business process. Subjects can be people, machines, or a combination of both. Processes are the results of structured interactions between all involved people (subjects).
Each and every step of the process can be thoroughly and safely validated prior to implementation. That means jCOM1’s solution makes it possible to feel the flow immediately without the need of any programming before the process goes “live”.
jCOM1 refer to this methodology as “active validation”. This approach to pro-active planning not only saves time and eliminates costs associated with process malfunctions but also allows users to react quickly to market changes and realise competitive advantages.
