ProSyst's JProfiler is a powerful tool for real-time testing and exploring of many aspects of an application's performance on a J2ME CDC virtual machine. JProfiler empowers developers to detect hot spots and bottlenecks and to reduce consumed system resources thus highly optimizing their programming code.
JProfiler brings the ability to optimize applications designed for resource-constrained mobile devices and embedded boards with its on-device profiler agent consuming minimal system resources. The newly-added support of the Symbian OS turns the tool into the perfect choice for checking applications' behavior on smartphones.
The intuitive JProfiler front-end interface provides a friendly representation of the collected performance data coming from the device - consumed memory, CPU load, objects in the Java heap and threads state transitions.
Being built in pure Java on top of the Sun's JVMPI interface (Java Virtual Machine Profiler Interface), JProfiler is fully compliant with an application written in Java and possesses all the advantages of the Java language - it is platform independent, robust, provides garbage collection and security.
JProfiler can be used as a plugin within the Eclipse platform or as a standalone tool.
