GUIdancer is an automated functional testing tool for testing applications written with Java (Swing, SWT, RCP, GEF) and HTML GUI's. GUIdancer's keyword-driven approach has various advantages. Tests can be written before an application is available, and are written without any code. The GUIdancer action library allows quick test automation, simply by dragging and dropping the required actions. A focus on reusability of test modules is supported from the outset. Test maintenance efforts are kept low thanks to this modularity and to the clear separation of test flow, data and object map. GUIdancer tests are easy to incorporate into continuous build processes and allow automated integration testing to take place as soon as code is checked in. In this way, quality is constantly monitored and errors are found when they are cheapest to fix.
