Stylebase for Eclipse is a tool maintaining a knowledge base of software architectural models and design patterns. We believe that Stylebase for Eclipse helps to improve the quality of software products and promotes knowledge sharing in local and distributed development teams. With Stylebase for Eclipse, you can, for example:

Store your models and patters for later resuse and share them with others.
Search patterns by various properties, including quality attributes ( e.g.maintainability, scalability).
Use sample library of desing patterns, defined in Eclipse UML dialect eCore

The most recent version has been released in September 2007 and it introduces several new features. There is an easy configuration wizard and installing a database management system is no longer compulsorary.

Ok, here we go! This version is proper beta (in my opinion, the first one was rather alpha). There are much less bugs and usability has increased considerably. Good.

In the most recen release, we have made effot to simplify the installation process. It is also possible to try the plug-in without installing MySQL at all.

The ide is excellent but it is at this time very very "beta"
