The idea for the plug-in is very nice but unfortunately this implementation has a little but nevertheless annoying flaw which explains why it works for some people and doesn't work for others: The path to the windows explorer executable is hard coded as C:\Windows\explorer.exe. If your explorer.exe resides somewhere else, the plug-in will not work. You can make it work by creating the directory C:\Windows and copying explorer.exe into this directory. On the other hand, you could also try the StartExplorer plug-in (search google for "StartExplorer plug-in") which offers the same functionality (and a little bit more) without the aforementioned flaw.

Seems nice, but it doesn't work on my Eclipse (3.2). I get the message 'The chosen operation is not currently available', wherever I try it. I'm fairly new to Eclipse, so if this easily fixed in the configuration somewhere, please point me in the right direction.

I can also confirm that version 1.0 does not work at all. I am using Windows 2000 and Eclipse 3.2.
