Insectivore is a Task creation and sharing plugin that provides two major pieces of functionality beyond that in the Eclipse core:
- The ability to capture additional information in the task, such as State, Severity, Description, and a Notes log.
- The ability to share these tasks with others working on the same codebase via their existing source control system (e.g. CVS).
Insectivore also offers:
- simple Email notification abilities (via SMTP) to optionally notify teammembers that a task has changed or requires attention.
- full integration with the tasks view, including \\\"Delete\\\" and \\\"Mark Completed\\\"
- change & commit tasks, team members tasks are updated
