The Subversive project is a brand new Eclipse plug-in that provides Subversion support. From a user point of view, Subversive provides Subversion support similar to CVS support, which is already part of the standard Eclipse platform. JavaSVN open-source library is used for interaction with Subversion. Having compared it with other tools that use JavaSVN, the Subversive team together with the JavaSVN team extended the standard Subversion API. This improvement gives Subversive an advantage if compared with other native and Java-based Subversion clients. The following solutions, now available in Subversive, are not present in other Subversion clients because of standard API limitations.

Current Build (0.7.0.v20080404) seems to be broken (can't be enabled because of missing file, on a fresh and clean Eclipse 3.3.3 installation)

Well done. Stable. Easy to learn and use.

Stable, useful and effective.

Best subversion plugin for eclipse that I have found but refactoring files and directories is buggy as hell which is a shame because that is one of the primary reasons I switched from cvs to subversion.

The frontend seemed muched better than SubClipse. But if you ever try to synchronize a ssh+svn project with it, you'll switch back to SubClipse...

This is a great, fantastic plugin. It has almost all the features you could imagine. (PS: Does it works faster now with the June and Juli release, for those 6 medium-sized Eclipse projects?)

very good. MUCH better than subclipse. no comparison really.

Very great SVN client ... for sandbox projects. I have six medium size Eclipse projects under version control and althought I've disabled all checks in the Performance-Preferences it slows down Eclipse. To say it clearly, 3 hours for synchronizing and tagging are unacceptable!

Very useful, but it is a little slow to support new version of Eclipse.
