e-Citiz Studio is a visual plug-in to design e-Services using an MDA/MDE approach. It generates a J2EE application.
The Studio is based on standards: XML, UML2, BPMN, J2EE.
It is packaged with Jboss AS, Jboss Portal and PostGreSQL but works also against the most used software infrastructure of the market (both open source and commercial products): BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, mySQL, Oracle, DB2...
It contains a Business Rules component to allow business analysts to express their requirements using a natural language.
The 4.2 offers BPM features, richer modeling, easier administration, broader ergonomy. It supports Java 5 and is validated against Websphere Application Server 7.
The 4.1.1 is a maintenance release that also brings a full Eclipse search function throught the model.
The 4.0 brings collaborative design services, i18n feature (including Arab and other left to right languages support), improved web layout design, better productivity for both modeler and developer.
e-Citiz is available in English and in French.
