The Quick Launch Plug-in allows launch configurations to appear directly in the run/debug toolbar.
When using different launch configurations in parallel (e.g. a client/server development), it isn't necessary anymore to use the indirection over the drop down menu.
Additionally, launch configurations can be configured with custom
icons.
