E.g. macro recording and play back in the Emacs emulation doen't work in quite the same way as in Gnu Emacs requiring you to save the macro and you still can't split the screen.
Whilst in the SlickEdit mode you are left somewhat outside the normal Eclipse edit and context menu functionality . E.g. if you use Log4E or Jalopy you have to open the Java file in the Eclipse Java editor to use them.
Worth a look if you're interested in other features of SlickEdit and the uninstall works quite well.
