Multi Clipboard gives you a clipboard for text- and source-code editor contents that holds multiple entries. You can configure the plug-in to save the contents of your Multi Clipboard to a file when Eclipse is closed. Contents are then reloaded when Eclipse is opened. You can even configure the plug-in to enable editing the contents of the Multi Clipboard. You can configure 'Ctrl+C' and 'Ctrl+X' to also populate the Multi Clipboard. MultiClipboard offers a "quick view" using "Ctrl+Shift+V" comparable to the behaviour of IntelliJ. Changes in 2.1.0: - Now supports also Callisto-editors and others - Added option to append rather than push new entries - Added possibility to copy to specified slots MultiClipboard is distributed under the EPL v1.0

Very helpful. This should be part of the standard Eclipse distribution! One thing I would change is to have the 'copy to Multi Clipboard with Ctrl+C'-feature enabled by default.

cool idea! but why don\'t you add the copy-actions automatically to your clipboard like the clipboard from excel/word? this will be a great feature for your plugin...
