Turbo Eclipse is a small optimized Eclipse distribution. The goals of Turbo Eclipse are * minimum amount of Plugins * Full Maven support using Maven IDE Plugin * Full Subversion support using subclipse * Faclets Support using the Eclipse Faclets Project Turbo Eclipse is based on Eclipse Ganymede 3.4. So the Distribution is build from the latest Eclipse Version. But Turbo Eclipse reduces the number of Plugins from over 750 down to less then 250! So Turbo Eclipse is much faster. Additional to the Eclipse Ganymede JEE Edition Turbo Eclipse provides full Maven and Subversion Support. So Turbo is for Developers who are using Maven to build there Project. Using maven allows you to reduce the complexity of an IDE as maven cares about all the configuration and build live cycle of a Java Project.
