Protecode Developer IP Assistant™ (DA) is the industry’s first solution for real-time preventive record keeping and IP management. It operates unobtrusively in the background and does not require sophisticated intellectual property training for software developers.
Protecode DA consists of a thin client which resides at each developer workstation and operates in conjunction with central software IP administration and software signature database facilities. The DA client is unobtrusive and operates transparent to the developer as long as there is no violation of established IP policy. The IP administration and the software signature databases are available either locally from an on-premises Protecode Enterprise IP Server (EIPS) or via secure web-service access to the Protecode Global IP Server™ (GIPS).
