It works great under Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo) + JDK SE 1.6.0_14. You should close at first Eclipse. Copy unzipped folder com.sysdeo.eclipse.tomcat_3.2.1 tp plugins folder of eclipse 3.5 and it works really fast.

Great plugin. This is my daily tool. My life would be much tougher without it. By the way, appreciate the previous voter. I spent almost 4 hours trying to figure out why "breakpoint" doesn't work well on eclipse 3.4.2 + jdk 1.6.0_14 + this plugin. After reading the previous comment, I change jdk to 1.6.0_13. Everything works perfectly.

Correction: the "breakpoint" issue is between Eclipse 3.4 and jdk1.6.0_14, is not a bug in the Sysdeo plugin, and you only need to regress to jdk1.6.0_13 to get around it. So I'm breaking the rules, voting again, and giving it 9 this time ;-)

Sysdeo Tomcat Launcher Plugin is not working with Ecllipse Gynemede which is 3.4.2 version.

This plug in is fine with Ecllipse Gynemede which is 3.4 version. I have just unziped and placed the com.syedo.eclipse.tomcat folder in eclipse/plugins folder. restarted the eclipse. Tomcat icons appeared.Just edited windows/preferences tomcat options. Its working good.

It is a good plugin but you need to make some way EASIER to install and UNINSTALL (because it does have uninstaller if I want to do).

Superb much needed plugin to launch tomcat from within eclipse. Very nice. Easy to install and easy to use. Lots of improvements possible though. Works nicely out of the box.
