Jalcedo is EPL-licensed to creat a rapid application development tool set for the Ecipse RCP Platform. Jalcedo realizes to reduce software development time/cost for RCP application, and to enable engineers to concentrate business logic and GUI customization.
Jalcedo has 3 steps to build user application,
Step 1: make entity class of with Java Persistence API,
Step 2: generate RCP application with scaffolding code of views and accessing database,
Step 3: customize the generated application to add user own logic and views
Jalcedo can generate automatically the scaffolding code by using the domain model based on POJO. This auto-generated application has capabilities of CRUD view and business logic to persist database. Then all remaining task for developing user application is only writing user own business logic and views.
