Shareclipse is a project which aims at providing collaborative developing features to the Eclipse IDE. The main feature is the creation of at least one peer group which works together on so called "Shared-Documents" in realtime. JMF enabled multimedia audio/video conferencing support and flexible local/remote video switching are also provided. A chat view with emoticon support, fully customisable layouts and a standalone rendezvous/relay server peer (required - free for download) complete the list of features. English and German documentation is provided in form of an installation guide and usermanuals. Just Perfect for Pair-Programming!! Share every line!

It is a very cool idea to integrate a multimediamessenger in the eclipse plattform. So we dont have to use many tools for projectcommunication. The Shared editing works great for Pair programming, but there are stll some bugs in this beta version
