Help! I keep getting the Library init error dialog ("Error in initialization of native part of the Colorer library...")
I've created soft links to libnet_sf_colorer.so in three different places (/usr/share/lib, /usr/lib, /usr/java/j2sdk/jre/lib/i386), and made sure that one or more of these are in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I've also tried adding them to the classpath I use to start Eclipse (although I didn't think this is how the JVM would locate shared libraries).
What exactly does "... library in paths of java machine" mean?
The catalog.xml file is in the right place. What am I missing? Red Hat 9, Eclipse 3.0 M7. Thanks for any suggestions... |

I found a workaround, at least works for me.
Create a file named .colorer5catalog in your home directory, and inside the file you put the full path to the colorer catalog.xml file. Usually this file is in the $ECLIPSE_HOME/plugins/net.sf.colorer_0.6.0/colorer/catalog.xml |

This error is often happens with version 0.6.0.
0.7.0 and higher already works fine under linux/macos. |
