Hi,
I found the lack of context sensitive help for C++ Standard Library APIs a bit of a blow for Eclipse. Unless I am mistaken, this feature is not currently available in Eclipse CDT. I believe this feature is absolutely essential in any fully fledged integrated development environment (e.g. MS Visual Studio, JBuilder etc...) .
Having to switch between my web browser and Eclipse when looking for help on C++ APIs makes it a bit tedious. I appreciate the fact that Eclipse is a freely available IDE but there is always room for improvement.
Thanks.
Eric. |
