Hi all
I cannot figure out why the line numbers will not be displayed in the Perl Projects.
When I initially installed the Perl and the C++ plugins, line numbers worked fine. One day in the Perl view the line numbers just stopped showing up. I wiped the entire eclipse directory and the project files, and reinstalled eclipse, and the perl and the c++ plugins. I also recreated the projects, and re-imported the code. C++ line numbers work fine, and perl's dont. I installed the plugins on another machine, and both work fine.
This is on my work box, and it is really a debilitating issue.
Any ideas?
Pls let me know if this is not a good place to post this kind of a message, and where should I post this instead? |

I found this response in the forums at SourceForge.net. I was having the same problem but checking the Show Line numbers box in the Perl Epic editor fixed the problem.

There are two places to set "Show line numbers"
1) Window - Preferences - General - Editors - Test Editors, then place a check beside Show line numbers.
2) Window - Preferences - Perl Epic - Editor, then place a check beside Show line numbers.
Hope this helps! |
