im a newbie in jasper assistant.
i have a report wherein the i use several subreport
my question is if i make 1 master report do it always have to be on the detail band or any band will do?
another problem is i have a several page report
the very first page of the report consist of a header,
when the page is full of details the header will become a continuation header
as well as the succeeding page will have a continuation header. so how can i achieve that my first page will have different header than the succeeding page.
Ex.
page 1
header subreport ---> details about client
risk subreport -----> contains all the possible risk of report
schedule subreport ---> contain other info about the client
if the detail overflow it will continue to the next page
page 2
continuation subreport ---> continuation header diff from the first page
warranties subreport --> warranty regarding the report
succeeding page if detail overflow
will also have continuation part
any idea is accepted. |
