Post subject: Corrupted installer  PostPosted: Jul 10, 2007 - 08:47 AM

I downloaded the 1.0.76-win32 installer and when I try to run it I get an error saying that the installer is corrupted or incomplete.

I tried a couple of different mirrors and had the same issue with all of them.

Which version of Windows are you using ?

I have just downloaded the file from Sourceforge.net and it installed correctly on my computer.

Can you check that the size of the image matches 27784117 bytes ? If so, you can download
md5summer to create a checksum of the archive. Please send it with a screenshot of the error message.

My last post didn't seem to make it.
I tried it a couple of times and noticed that the size is always the same. I was using firefox to download then tried ie. Both came up with same size of file. I didn't get any errors while downloading.

As long as you do not get a file of 27784117 bytes whose md5 equals
0e1e93796b47e62361890f00a84c6837, you can diagnose that the file
was not correctly downloaded.

I can not tell if the problem comes from firefox, from your internet
connection/web proxy or from the mirror itself though.

In europe, we succeeded on both W2K/XP + firefox (2.0.0.4) with
ovh.dl.sourceforge.net and heanet.dl.sourceforge.net.
