I would find it really useful if there was some comparison of plugins. A place where people who have evaluated two or three different plugins within a single category can show what they've found, why they've decided to go with plugin X over plugin Y.
For example, I'm thinking of using a database plugin. Do I use Eclipse's Data Tools Platform, Azzurri Clay, Eclipse SQL Explorer or EclipseDatabase? The ratings helped me reduce the list of plugins to investigate from 31 down to 3, plus the data plugin from eclipse.org. It would help me even further if I could research why other evaluators decided to use X instead of Y (eg: "I found x better then Y in the area of SQL writing, but Y was better then X when it came to visual representation of the database.")
Just something I think would help me, and thus might help other plugin users.
