All plugins should allow someone to use the install/update view. Plugin sites should encourage this.

Each plugin should have a seperate attribute displaying the update site.
The URL should be shown in the main details.
e.g
Clearcase plugin for Eclipse
Version: 0.9.7
Support Eclipse Version: 2.1.x
License: Commercial
Development Status: Alpha
Company: wr0ngway
Update Site:
http://eclipse-ccase.sourceforge.net/update/
The plugin maintainer should be able to specify whether this URL is clickable (i.e the update site contains an index.php/html/ ...)
